Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and/or Experienced Veterinary Assistant | Full-time/Part-time/Relief Positions Available
The Charleston Regional Spay Neuter Center, Inc. DBA the Fix'Em Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and/or an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team.
The Fix'Em Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit veterinary clinic that specializes in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter and wellness services. Mentored by the ASPCA Humane Alliance, we adhere to the highest standards of patient care while remaining committed to making veterinary services accessible to the pets and families who need them most.
Our mission is to provide affordable spay/neuter and preventative care services that improve animal welfare, reduce euthanasia in shelters, address community pet overpopulation, and expand access to veterinary care throughout our region.
This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a four-day work week, three-day weekends, and no emergency or on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong passion for patient care, and be eager to support our mission of improving access to veterinary care. We are looking for someone who values compassionate care and enjoys educating pet owners about the importance of spay/neuter and preventative medicine.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Current RVT license in good standing and/or previous Veterinary Assistant experience
• Strong animal handling and patient care skills
• Ability to safely restrain dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
• Preferred experience with vaccine administration, venipuncture & blood collection, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, patient recovery, and client communication
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork communication, and organizational skills
